The Vineyards

Château de Nalys enjoys an exceptional position in the heart of the appellation opposite the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and its famous Papal Palace. The seventy five hectares of vineyards are made up of five separate plots: “Nalys” at the heart of the property with its russet-coloured sandy-clay soils over limestone slabs; “Bois Sénéchal” and the famous terroir of “La Crau” which both have the ancient alluvial, stony soils of the Rhône – the famous rolled pebbles; “Pied Long” with its clay plateau which overlooks the appellation and “Saintes Vierge” with its fine sands.
